Down this path is the last stretch before hitting Yulong river at Dragon Bridge. I mention a school in the last picture, it's right around the corner here to the right.
The River's right there to the left. This also appears to be the main place to get a bamboo raft for the trek down the river.
This girl to the right with the baby ended up showing me down here. Once you hit the paved road out of the fields, it's a little confusing how to get here.
Here are some of the bamboo rafts and little places that are nice to take a break at. One down the river drew my attention for lunch.
Here's the famous Dragon Bridge dating back to the 1400s and the path down to the river on the right.

The town is lined with little places to take a break and grab a snack.

Bamboo rafts line the shores here.

Some more of those bamboo rafts I was talking about.
Not a bad way to get around. The bike ride here can be brutal so a motorbike may not be a bad choice if you don't have the energy.
Here's that place that caught my attention for lunch. Awe, what a view.
I'm a little late for lunch, so I've got the place practically to myself.
I wasn't even sure if this was a restaurant or not so I had to ask. They were more than happy to serve me up some food.
Talk about fresh fish! He even let me pick my own.
On the menu, the firsh was called Mau gu yue. But it looked like catfish to me.
And there's my beautiful catfish... And pretty much the best tasting catfish I've ever had!
Actually, I noticed that this was the place I originally saw from the bridge. Oh, well. I also heard they speak English there while my guy did not. I'm trying to learn Chinese so it was perfect for me though.
I've got the place all to myself.
Even the fish seem to have it good here.
I wonder why the small chairs. Even Chinese people aren't this small.
A rare photo of me online!
This has got to be one of the best tasting meals I've had in China. Total bill was about $10 US and the atmosphere was priceless. For some reason, I can't ever get my food pictures to come out sharp.
Another view of the priceless atmosphere. No matter what anyone says, try to make it to Dragon Bridge for lunch.
Hey, there go some bamboo rafters!
More bamboo rafters.
That looks fun. Tomorrow I'm going to do it.
But can I handle 3-4 hours on one of those?
In case you're wondering, here are some photos of the path I took to find the restaurant. Don't ask me how I found it, this place is a maze. But when I saw the sign, I figured it must be some kind of business.
I was coming down this road and saw the sign there on the left. I didn't go to the right, which would have taken me to the other restaurant with the many people. (I heard they spoke english there though).
Here is a closer view of the entrance to my restaurant.
If you're looking for the restaurant, make a right up ahead at what appears to be a school. You can see this school if you look to your left when you begin to apprach the river through the village.
