> HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
by Gary Isse
~ Published: 2007-05-13

I would like to once again wish all the mothers out there a Happy Mother's Day! I would also like to take this opportunity to post an exerpt from the very first Mother's day proclamation that I found interesting as most people forget that the American Mother's Day was originally a call to disarm during the American Civil War. {more}

> Do You Like President Bush? Here Is Something You Can Do To Save the Earth on Earth Day and Everyday
by Gary Isse
~ Published: 2006-04-22

I have struggled with this topic for quite some time because I did not want to discuss politics on my site. I justify this, however, because this is not about politics, it is about the Earth and our future. If you really care about the future of this planet and life as we know it, then it is your responsibility to do what you can to protect it. Personally, I do not believe in taking up arms or sitting around all day moaning and complaining. I believe there are plenty of things we can do in our daily lives that can make a difference, and here is a BIG one. GIVE UP YOUR CAR. If millions of people sold their cars and said that they would not buy another until things changed, then I guarantee you that things would change very quickly. For more about this plan, visit DoYouHateBush.com. But even if you can't see yourself getting rid of your car altogether, consider at least not driving today, Earth Day. For her sake. {more}

> The Ten Commandments to all Humans
by Gary Isse
~ Published: 2006-04-11

Every day I receive a short email entitled Good Morning World, which is a mailing list of Robert Muller's. It has provided me with many many things to think about and although there are many topics worth sharing, today's caught my attention because it provided a short list of things that all of us can do to help create a better world. Please join me in following these Ten Commandments to all Humans. {more}

> Hope for the Future ~ Video Project
by Gary Isse
~ Published: 2006-03-10

You may have seen many quotes from Robert Muller throughout my web site. He is the author of the book "Most of all They Taught Me Happiness" and is a former UN Under Secretary-General who, through his works, has inspired me in many aspects of my life. Together, he and his wife, Barbara Gaughen-Muller have been working together to bring hope and optimism to the work of world peace. I find their work and attitudes very refreshing in a world that is constantly trying to tear people apart and bring out the worst of humanity. One of Barbara's latest projects is called "Hope for the Future," which is a collection of videos dedicated to... {more}

> Happiness is a Decision
by Gary Isse
~ Published: 2006-02-21

I have been reading an absolutely wonderful book lately called Most of All They Taught Me Happiness by Robert Muller. You may have seen a few of his quotes throughout my web site. This is an amazing book that I think everyone on the planet should read. I have hesitated in adding it to my recommended books section only because I have not felt that anything I have written so far has given it justice, but don’t worry, I will write something soon. In the meantime, for those of you seeking to be happy, Robert and his wife Barbara are giving a lecture entitled Happiness is a Decision. Although I will not be in the states on that date, I strongly encourage all of you to attend. It may change your life. For more information... {more}

> 2005: The Year in Retrospect
by Gary Isse
~ Published: 2006-01-07

I woke up this morning and realized that it has been one year since I escaped from the cube. By “cube” I am referring to that box that seems to confine one's very existence in the corporate world, a box that dulls the mind and weakens the soul, that keeps one from accomplishing great things. As I enjoy this moment of looking back at what once was, I think it may be a good time to take a retrospective look at what I have been able to accomplish in the time since I have “escaped from the cube.” {more}

Merry Christmas! I would like to wish everyone, in all parts of the world, a very Merry Christmas. I wish you all the best and hope for a more prosperous new year for all. > Play Music, Everyday
by Gary Isse
~ Published: 2005-12-10

A couple of days ago I wrote about how I thought it would be a good idea to Write Something Everyday, well, after thinking about it some more, I also thought it would be a good idea to play music everyday. Now, I don't mean that you have to go out and buy a musical instrument if you have never played one before (although that might not be a bad idea), but I do mean that you should spend some time, everyday, to get a groove on. Play an instrument if you can, but if find that you can't at the time... {more}

December 10th is International Human Rights Day and if you are anything like me, then it is a day when you feel like you are suppose to do something but you are not quite sure what to do. As long as you agree with the idea that everyone is entitled to "Human Rights," then I sure you would have no problem supporting the day, but what do you do? {more}
