Living > Do You Like President Bush? Here Is Something You Can Do To Save the Earth on Earth Day and Everyday
by Gary Isse
~ Published: 2006-04-22

I have struggled with this topic for quite some time because I did not want to discuss politics on my site. I justify this, however, because this is not about politics, it is about the Earth and our future. If you really care about the future of this planet and life as we know it, then it is your responsibility to do what you can to protect it. Personally, I do not believe in taking up arms or sitting around all day moaning and complaining. I believe there are plenty of things we can do in our daily lives that can make a difference, and here is a BIG one. GIVE UP YOUR CAR. If millions of people sold their cars and said that they would not buy another until things changed, then I guarantee you that things would change very quickly. For more about this plan, visit DoYouHateBush.com. But even if you can't see yourself getting rid of your car altogether, consider at least not driving today, Earth Day. For her sake.
