Today is Earth Day here in the States. Although it is not the official International Earth Day, which was celebrated on March 20th this year, the date of the Spring Equinox, who am I to pupu any event which commemorates our beautiful planet.

Personally, as an Earth Trustee, I take every opportunity I have to celebrate the Earth and share with others my love for her, however, on days like today, I try to make an extra special effort to convince all of those around me to take the necessary steps to help ensure that she remains a beautiful place for many generations to come. As an Earth Trustee, one should work to:

* To promote actions to preserve peace and planet
* To conserve nature and its resources
* To encourage environmental stewardship and
* To ask others to do the same.

I hope you will join me today, and every day, in accomplishing these tasks.
