Lately I have been looking for ways of self-improvement. Primarily because I find myself happier doing so; going to school, learning new things, traveling to new places, taking on new habits, trying to eat healthier, exercising, etc. One of the things that I find myself doing more and more of recently is writing. I really love to write, so, starting today, I am making a new rule for myself, Write Something, Everyday.
Actually, now that I think about it, this would be a great rule for everyone to follow. Sure, most of us would have about 300 pieces of writing that we would probably want to throw out at the end of the year, but those 56 that are left will probably turn out to be very memorable. At the very least, your collection might be a great thing to show the kids or grandkids one day! Think of it as creating your own photo album but with words. Remember, they say that a photograph is equal to a thousand words so if you want to have a nice size album, you better get writing!
