I find it interesting how things change. How someone’s thoughts on a subject could go from one point-of-view to another in such a short amount of time. While working in the cube, for example, I was a supporter of the idea that music should not be available for free download by someone who is not the owner of the music if the owner so chooses that it not be. Actually, I was working for a member of the RIAA so I almost felt a direct connection to what was considered theft. Now I still consider it wrong for someone to sell something that does not belong to them, especially if the creator is trying to sell it to make a living, however, I feel that the RIAA and the companies that make it up have gone completely overboard in their campaign and I am now starting to question in their motives and objectives.
